Notes on income: The weekly earnings of a skilled worker in the metal trades averaged 36.53 marks in 1913, 54.43 marks at the high point in October 1928, and only 30.59 marks in September 1932. The weekly earnings of an unskilled labourer in the same industry were 27.04 marks in 1913, 42.26 marks in October 1928 and 21.13 marks in September 1932.

BOHEMIA & MORAVIA

In the early hours of the morning of 15th March 1939, the German Army marched in and occupied the Czech lands of Bohemia & Moravia, the important industrial and mining region around the town of Ostrova had been occupied during the preceding night.
