Ref: 20.01.1941 FPN 04518 (Panzer Corps Intelligence Department 447). The task of the Intelligence department was to establish connections to superior and subordinate units. This could be done via wire (telephone) or radio. Some were deployed in telephone exchanges. In addition, there were also the supply units (cooks, tailors, shoemakers, supplies, etc.).
