Official cover from the Finanzamt Bochum using surviving Third Reich era stationery, the former national socialist emblem and related text deliberately obliterated. Franked24 Pfennig, with a Bochum machine cancellation carrying the slogan "Wählen ist Bürgerpflicht", "Voting is a civic duty", recorded 26th August to 18th September1946, promoting the municipal elections of 15th September 1946. Ref: 30.08.1946 - 35/28
