Ireland to Canada, Second World War censored transatlantic cover, posted 19th February 1943, addressed to the Annals, Saint Anne de Beaupré, Quebec. It bears a two-and-a-half pence Irish definitive, with a British P.C.90 continuous censor seal inscribed "Opened by Examiner 6793", together with a bilingual "Opened by Censor" / "Ouvert par un Censeur" S.P.1 seal. There's also a "26th March 1943" marking showing later handling, with precise censorship locations and routing still under investigation. Ref: 19.02.1943 - 35/30
