Italian POW letter-sheet mail sent from No.27 Camp (via G.P.O. Bombay) to Trieste. Featuring German censor stamps (red = Vienna HL:GPM1.6/237 and black = Munich HL:DPM1.1/137 - scarce). The letter was most likely sent via Vienna by accident, as mail from India hadn't been dealt with by ABP Vienna since 1941. ABP Munich dealt with mail being forwarded to Italy. Ref: 21.10.1943
