Cover sent from Rome to an Italian POW (via Bombay) in Camp 28, Yol, northern India. Featuring Italian and British censors (and what looks like German red numbered hand stamps and ribbed closed tape). The date on the Italian cancellation is the day before the Italian surrender to the Allies - the Armistice of Cassibile. Ref: 02.09.1943
