This is an official Munich municipal Welfare Office (Wohlfahrtsamt) Family Maintenance Department (Abteilung Familienunterhalt, Amt 5) card sent to Rosa Stadler of Lindwurmstraße 135/I, München 15, and postmarked 3rd February 1941. Stadler was requested to attend the office within the following three working days and specifically to bring her new rent book (Mietebuch). The Familienunterhalt system provided financial support to qualifying dependants of men called into military service, so the card was probably connected with the assessment or review of such payments, although the serviceman concerned and his relationship to Rosa Stadler have not yet been identified.
