Mi.1-12 Bohemia and Moravia Service Stamp
Mi.1-12 Bohemia and Moravia Service Stamp

Official cover sent from the 'Politische Expositur in Neu-Benatek' to the representative of the local transport authority in Prague. Featuring Bohemia and Moravia 60 H and 3 K Service Stamps (Mi.4 & Mi.10). Ref: 28.06.1941 - 1/84.

It is noted that the term 'Politische Expositur' appears to emanate from the 19th century Austrian Empire, being a political branch of a district authority that carries out the tasks of the district authority for a part of the respective political district. A political branch differs from a simple branch in that the branch carries out (almost) all of the official business of the district authority itself and thus acts similarly to an independent authority. In this case the work of the German government in Nue-Benatek. Source: Wikipedia
