Stamps first issued on 25th September 1933 to commemorate the 50th ocean crossing of the airship ‘Graf Zeppelin’ (LZ127) - The trip to the World’s Fair in Chicago. Note: These stamps are the same as Mi.423, Mi.424 and Mi.455, with the added inscription ‘ ‘ (printed in black on Mi.496 & Mi.497, and in brown on Mi.498).
