Felix Albrecht (1900-???)

 

German writer, illustrator and artistic activist of the NSDAP. Albrecht took part in the First World War from 1917 to 1918 and joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) in 1924. From 1925 to 1927 he studied at the State University of Fine Arts in Berlin and then worked as a freelance artist and writer.


In the same year he joined the NSDAP and in 1930 the SS. On 18th October, 1931 he took part in an SA meeting in Braunschweig. On 6th December, 1931, he was promoted to SS-Sturmführer and became a freelance employee of the Reich Propaganda Directorate of the NSDAP and the SS. In 1933 he became an assessor of the Reich Literature Chamber in the Film Testing Office and in 1934 he became an art advisor in the Main Office for People's Welfare of the NSDAP as well as an SS-Hauptsturmführer. In 1938 he finally got a job in the NSDAP's main office for public welfare. He distinguished himself as a hard-working poster designer for the NSDAP.
